In 2015, more than 4,300 newborn kittens (two months of age or younger) were killed in Los Angeles city shelters, simply because they didn't have safe places to call home. So this year, Best Friends and our NKLA Coalition partners are redoubling efforts to save more kittens than ever before, in the race to make Los Angeles a no-kill city by 2017. Kitten nurseries provide hope to giving thousands of adorable and innocent neonatal kittens a chance to grow up and get adopted.

Kitten nurseries need help around the clock! Duties include bottle feeding, cage cleaning, food preparation and socializing. Ready to get started?
