Angel City Pit Bulls is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a better future for pit bulls by promoting their positive image as loving family companions through education, public advocacy, adoptions, and responsible pet ownership. Angel City Pit Bulls (ACPB) was founded in 2010 to address the problem of overpopulation and high euthanasia rates of pit bull terrier type dogs in Los Angeles shelters. ACPB continues to evolve through the efforts of dedicated pit bull owners, educators, rescuers, and supporters working together to respond to the challenges facing pit bulls in our community.
As a member of the NKLA Coalition, it is ACPB’s priority to be an integral part of making Los Angeles no-kill. Their efforts center on reducing the number of pit bull terrier type dogs in L.A. city animal shelters by increasing adoptions, providing community education and support to increase owner retention, and offering targeted spay/neuter programs.
